So it seems that whenever I have sums of dough to dump around, oppertunities arise. BP, Telkom’s unfortunate share price drift to davy jones’ locker and now the gamadoelie with ArcellorMittal and Kumba. For those that DON’T know, A.M is just the largest steel company in the world… and recently, with the ties they have to Saldanha Steel [mine] (outside the obvious scope of this post), things are probably oppertunistically placed for me. The risks have been weighed, as was with the whole BP shananigans (and I stil say fkyou for that oil spill and untotalled ecological mayhem), and I decided to dump some cash into ArcellorMittal shares, not too much, just enough to see what plays out. As I see it, the deal will level out at some point… Kumba needs a client, AMSA needs the ore, and karma will deal with the situation accordingly, if we may add some fate to a economic recipe. All those people can’t lose their jobs, and a great system can’t be kept its knees for much longer… So there goes my money, and hopefully it pays off…
